Loopin' is a game made in pygame all about Loopin'. Swing, boost, and fling yourself upward with the provided Loops and Boosts to get as high as you can. We spent a lot of time on this game so we very much hope you enjoy! Good luck!

Quick tip: Make sure to try and hit loops on the edge and also hit them while moving and falling if possible. The game gives you more speed on the loops if you have more x and y speed when you hit them. Also don't be afraid to use a loop more than once in a row, that is a large part of how you gain height in difficult situations! The reason I added this is to help out players as I have gotten a couple comments regarding that the game is fun but super duper difficult (something that was harder for me to catch on to since I have been playing the game a ton the past 4 days), which isn't the best for a Game Jam setting, as people tend to spend only a few minutes on each game. Hope this helps!

Is it a bug or something that I can't get the speed I see in the video or am I just trash
I like the idea, I don't mind the execution BUT HOLY GUACKAMOLE DOES THIS GAME RAGEBAIT
How so?
Idk, it just feels like sometimes there is a bit of latency or something when I release up and then it flies off in the wrong direction. The issue probably isn't the game, its me (I suck) but yeah. It is very fun though, you did a great job!
I've realized that the game might be difficult from the start and I just didn't know since I had been playing it constantly for 4 days straight so I was so locked into the mechanics lol. I added some instructions to this page to help those who are still having trouble maybe get the hang of it. Despite your valid troubles I'm glad you were able to enjoy my game!
